Crunchyroll revealed to Animehunch on May 22, 2023, that they have introduced a Hindi User Interface for the Indian fans.
This means that fans can now now access Crunchyroll app in Hindi on Android and IOS devices.
The localized version has been rolling out on the IOS devices from the beginning of this month, with Android launching it today along with web version coming soon.
The localized content will be completely made available on the Android devices by the end of the week.
According to Crunchyroll, Indian fans can now enjoy the following features in the app:
- A wide variety of catalog and simulcast series including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc and MASHLE: MAGIC AND MUSCLES, alongside access to a wide variety of music videos and concerts.
- Now localized in Hindi, Indian anime fans can easily access new and existing Hindi dubs including the critically-acclaimed Ranking of Kings: The Treasure Chest of Courage and the upcoming dub for The Ancient Magus’ Bride Season 2, explore different genres and find current simulcasts and popular anime titles.
- Recommendations tailored to viewing history and seamless navigation to watchlists
- Personalization through a curated library of avatars and header images featuring fan-favorite series.
- Offline viewing. With a Crunchyroll Premium membership, offline viewing allows fans to watch their favorite series on the go.
- Crunchylists, allows fans to create a curated collection of their favorite anime series.
