BABYMETAL is collaborating with singer-songwriter Tatsuya Kitani for the opening theme of Hell’s Paradise Season 2, with the collaboration track titled “Kasuka na Hana” (Faint Flower).

The song is previewed in a newly released trailer, which was revealed during Jump Festa 2026 on Dec 20.

SU-METAL (BABYMETAL) commented that while the group frequently collaborates with metal artists, working with Kitani brought out a different side of BABYMETAL.

We often collaborate with metal bands, but because this was a collaboration with Tatsuya Kitani, we were able to bring out a new side of BABYMETAL, and that truly makes us happy. When we heard this song, it felt like a dignified flower teaching us the preciousness and beauty of simply existing as oneself. We hope everyone can find a small, precious happiness they want to protect—like their own ‘kasuka na hana.’

Kitani explained that “Kasuka na Hana” was inspired by the image of a flower that embodies both strength and fragility, firmly rooted in the soil while swaying in the wind. He said the song reflects admiration for people who accept uncertainty and continue to move forward while realizing themselves, describing such a way of living as modest, dignified and ideal.

Hell’s Paradise season 2 will premiere on the TV Tokyo network on Jan. 11, 2026.

The panel also revealed that manga will be available to read in full on Shonen Jump+ from Dec 21-26. Meanwhile, the first season of the TV anime will be streamed on the Jump+ YouTube channel and TVer from 6 p.m. JST on Dec 21 until 6 p.m. JST on Jan 11, 2026, ahead of the second season’s broadcast.

The first season of the anime, produced by MAPPA, aired from April to July 2023. Kaori Makita, who directed the first season, is returning to helm the second season, with Akira Kindaichi once again overseeing the series scripts.

During Jump Festa’ 25 Makita had stated that the second season of the anime “is being produced in a very good atmosphere with a lot of staff members who are full of love for the series.”
