The official website for the upcoming soccer anime Aoashi released its first trailer for the series on Monday, March 14, 2022. The trailer reveals and previews the anime’s opening and ending theme songs along with a premiere date of April 9, 2022.
Alexandros will perform the opening theme song “Mushin Hakusū” (Innocent Beat Count) while Rinne will perform the ending theme song “Blue Diary.”
The franchise also unveiled a few additional cast members including:

- Mikako Komatsu as Aoi Kaneko
- Mie Sonozaki as Noriko Aoi
- Yoshiki Nakajima as Shun Aoi

The TV anime will debut on the NHK Educational channel on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at 6:25 p.m.
Aoashi is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūgo Kobayashi. It has been serialized in Shogakukan‘s seinen manga magazine Weekly Big Comic Spirits since January 2015.
The series involves youth football player Ashito Aoi and his journey and experiences in the Tokyo Esperion youth academy.
In 2020, the manga won the 65th Shogakukan Manga Award for the general category.
