The official website of Shogakukan revealed a list of nominees for the 68th Shogakukan Manga Awards. A total of 13 manga have been nominated for the award, with two under Children’s category, three in the Shonen category, four in the Shojo category, and four in the General category.
The winning works will be announced on Jan 18, 2023.

The Shogakukan Manga Award is one of Japan’s major manga awards, and is sponsored by Shogakukan Publishing. It has been awarded annually for serialized manga and features candidates from a number of publishers. It is the oldest manga award in Japan, being given since 1955.
Each winning work will be honored with a bronze statuette, a certificate and a prize of 1 million yen (about US$7,500).
