Popular cosplayer Moe Iori took to twitter recently to express her dissatisfaction at YouTube age restricting her videos for viewer aged 18.
Despite the fact that she majorly does photogravure, Iori stated that she has been very careful about what she posts on YouTube.
She was dissatisfied by the fact that YouTube age restricted her videos even though there was no skin-show in them.
“I wish YouTube would get over this. It’s true that I mainly do photogravure, but I’ve always been careful about what I show on YouTube, and most of my videos are only shown in hoodies and T-shirts, but they put an age limit on her videos,” Iori wrote in her tweet.
The cosplayer also clarified that she didn’t have a problem with YouTube’s age restriction. The dissatisfaction was caused because she felt her videos were unfairly age restricted.
According to her, one of her gaming videos was age restricted even though she was seen wearing a sleeveless dress in the thumbnail.
“This thumbnail, this content, this mystery of age restrictions,” a rough translation of her comment reads.
Moe Iori is a popular cosplayer in Japan with over 1.1 million followers on Twitter and over 320,000 followers on YouTube.
Along with gravure photoshoots and other type of cosplays, she also uploads videos of live gaming onto her YouTube channel. Her recent cosplay of Marin Kitagawa from My Dress Up Darling manga was featured on the cover of Young Gagan.
