A new Shanks from One Piece’s figurine was revealed by Bandai in their “POP” series.

The figure is of Shanks battle against Akainu during the Marineford arc. It is specifically of the scene where Shanks blocked an attack of Akainu with his favourite sword ‘Griffon’.

The figure perfectly displays Shanks expressions from the moment and enhances on the fact that he is one of the 4 emperors.

The figure stands at 21.5 cm and is 3D model.

You can book the figurine at Bandai’s official website “Premium Bandai”. The booking starts at 1:00 PM JST on August 5. The product is scheduled to ship in April 2023.

A new One Piece movie called One Piece: Red film has been announced which focuses on Shanks and his daughter Uta.

One Piece Film Red releases in Japan on Aug 6, 2022.

Crunchyroll and TOEI Animation will release One Piece: Red movie in selected theatres in US, Canada, Australia and New Zealand in Fall this year. The movie will be released in both subbed and dubbed versions.

Goro Taniguchi returns to the franchise for the first time since 1998 to direct One Piece Film: Red. Tsutomu Kuroiwa will be in charge of the screenplay. TOEI Animation is animating the film with original author Eiichiro Oda serving as executive producer.
