Itadori engages in a back-and-forth battle with Mahito, but struggles against Mahito’s strategy of using civilians to counter him. At the same time, Kugisaki returns to the battlefield, disregarding Nitta’s protests, and encounters the clone of Mahito. Kugisaki is wary of the cursed spirit’s techniques, but fights back against it. On the other hand Mahito plans to kill Kugisaki and break Itadori’s soul even more.
