Crunchyroll has revealed its plans for Kolkata’s first-ever Comic Con, set to take place on Feb 22-23, 2025, at the Biswa Bangla Mela Prangan.
The anime streaming giant will bring a dedicated booth featuring immersive installations, interactive experiences, and exclusive giveaways, inspired by popular anime series.
The booth will offer fans a chance to step into popular anime worlds, including a One Piece installation where attendees can pose for photos.
A Solo Leveling interactive setup will provide a 360° experience inspired by the anime.
Crunchyroll will also host anime trivia challenges throughout the event, allowing attendees to test their knowledge for a chance to win exclusive merchandise. The giveaways will include Crunchyroll-branded swag bags, One Piece collector cards, Solo Leveling acrylic keychains, and Dragon Ball DAIMA fan cards.
Kolkata’s debut in the Comic Con comes after the event’s successful editions in other Indian cities, which have been held annually since 2011.
The event will run from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on both days.
