A leak that surfaced online suggested that a staff member involved with Ken Wakui‘s Tokyo Revenger‘s manga got tested positive for Coronavirus resulting in a suspension in the publication of the manga in the 18th issue of Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine.
Chapter 247 will be published as scheduled in the 17th issue of Weekly Shounen Magazine set to release on Mar 23, 2022.
The manga will however return with Chapter 248 in the 19th issue of the magazine on April 9, 2022.
Ken Wakui‘s Tokyo Revengers manga debuted in 2017 and has already sold over 40 million copies. It won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award for shonen in 2020. The first season of the anime aired in April 2021 and ended in September 2021. It was also licensed outside of Asia by Crunchyroll.
