The official website for Science SARU unveiled the main trailer, new key visual, and cast members for the upcoming original TV anime Yurei Deco on June 9. The anime is set to premiere on July 3, 2022.
The main trailer features the opening theme song “1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 LOVE” by Clammbon.
The newly announced cast includes:
- Mira Kawakatsu as Berry
- Anna Nagase as Hack
- Miyu Irino as Finn
- Setsuji Sato as Hank
- ??? as Mister Watson
- Sayuri Sadaoka as Madmam 44
- Rie Kugimiya as Smiley
Super Shiro‘s Tomohisa Shimoyama will direct the series with scripts by Dai Sato (Cowboy Bebop). Clammbon’s bassist Mito, with Koutarou Saitou, and Yebisu303 will be in charge of composing the music.

Crunchyroll reported that they will stream the TV anime globally soon after its Japan debut. The anime will be broadcasted every Sunday from July 3 on TOKYO MX at 23: 00, every Tuesday from July 5 on MBS at 27: 30, and every Monday from July 4 on BS at 24:30.
According to the Studio, Yurei Deco can be summed up as a near-future mystery adventure where “Yurei Detectives” run through the information city “Tom Sawyer Island” where reality and cyberspace overlap.

From Science SARU comes an original story based on The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The story begins when Berry, an average girl from an average home, meets Hack, a girl who looks like a boy. Charmed by Hack, Berry meets up with the team Hack leads, the Ghost Detectives Club. Members of this club are “socially dead,” working invisibly within the digitally controlled society of Tom Sawyer. As she works with the group, Berry learns about Zero, a mysterious figure who lurks within Tom Sawyer’s underground. She and Hack decide to chase down this figure, and in time, the truth behind the city is revealed…
