Elden Ring Game Gets Webcomic Adaptation By KADOKAWA

KADOKAWA Corporation has announced on Feb 26, 2024, the they will adapt the critically acclaimed action RPG, Elden Ring into a webcomic. Titled Elden Ring Become Lord, the webcomic will be drawn by Hand Punch and is scheduled to begin serialization on March 29, 2024.

The webcomic will be available on TATESC COMICS website and other Japanese e-book stores. No details have been disclosed on English and other translations of the webcomic.

Hand Punch, the artist behind the webcomic adaptation, expressed his enthusiasm on the project, stating, “We are honored to be entrusted with the comic adaptation of such a prestigious work, but at the same time, we feel significant responsibility and pressure. ELDEN RING is not just a game; it is art itself. While we have poured passion into the creation process without reservation, we faced numerous challenges along the way. However, just as this game has taught us, we believe that light will always prevail and shine through, no matter how difficult the path.

The grand adventure of the action RPG ELDEN RING is now available in full-color comic. The story follows one of The Tarnished who, guided by blessings, reached the Lands Between and sets out on a journey to become the next Elden Lord. Along the way, the Tarnished encounters charming characters, explores various dungeons, battles mighty bosses, and more.

Elden Ring is a 2022 action role-playing game developed by FromSoftware. It was directed by Hidetaka Miyazaki and Yui Tanimura with worldbuilding provided by fantasy writer George R. R. Martin.
