The official website of Blue Lock anime announced on March 26, 2023, that it will be returning for a second season, along with getting an anime film adaptation. The film will adapt BLUELOCK -Episode Nagi- spin off manga.
A new PV and a key visual were revealed to commemorate the announcements. Check them out below:

The anime adaptation was done by Eight Bit studio and directed by Tetsuaki Watanabe with Shunsuke Ishikawa serving as assistant director.
Music was provided by Jun Murayama, Taku Kishimoto handled series composition and the script, Masaru Shindō provided the main character designs and serve as chief animation director, and Hisashi Tojima serving as the chief action director.
Blue Lock is a Japanese manga series written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Yusuke Nomura. It has been serialized in Kodansha‘s Weekly Shōnen Magazine since August 2018. A spin-off manga focusing on Seishiro Nagi has also started serialization in the July issue of Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shonen Magazine.
Blue Lock won the 45th Kodansha Manga Award in the shōnen category in 2021.
