Nijigen no Mori’s “NARUTO x BORUTO Shinobi-zato” in Hyogo prefecture will be holding the ‘Sakura Birthday Celebration 2022’ birthday event to commemorate one of the main characters, Sakura Haruno‘s birthday.
Sakura becomes the first-ever female anime character in the Shinobi world to get such a special event.
The event will also commemorate the 3rd anniversary of the opening of the attraction area “NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi-zato.”
On Sakura’s birthday, Mar 28, 2022, a mini mystery-solving game “NARUTO Shippuden x Real Mystery Solving Game Shinobi Special Mission # 012 Sakura Hinata Hen” will be held.
The tour game is open to all with different difficulty levels in which the mystery has to be solved within 30 mins using hints spread out in the game area. The characters from the Naruto franchise, Gaara and Uzumaki Naruto will also be involved in the hints.
For each ticket purchased for “NARUTO Shippuden x Real Mystery Solving Game Shinobi Special Mission # 012 Sakura Hinata Hen”, visitors will receive one random character wooden strap.
Furthermore, various merchandise with characters in original costumes will be sold. Photo booths for visitors will also be set up for this limited-time event.
Purchases of 5,000 yen or more at NARUTO & BORUTO Shinobi’s “Konoha Shoten” will present a shopper with a newly written illustration of “NARUTO Shippuden x Real Mystery Solving Game Shinobu Special Mission # 012 Sakura Hinata Hen”.
Visitors can also write congratulatory messages on cherry blossom petal-shaped sticky notes to convey their thoughts to the characters.
The event will be held between Mar 26-May 29, 2022.
Located on Awaji Island in the middle of Hyogo Prefectural Awajishima Park, Nijigen no Mori is a theme park with some attractions based on well-known Japanese anime and pop culture.
At present, the park has four main attractions—each requiring different admission tickets. There is a park dedicated to the Naruto franchise called Naruto and Boruto Shinobi-zato, Crayon Shin-chan Adventure Park (geared towards kids), a nighttime multimedia experience called Fire bird, and a Godzilla-themed attraction called Operation Godzilla Intercept.
