Quintessential Quintuplets Season 2 New Character Video Features Miku

The Youtube channel of TBS began streaming a new character video of Quintessential Quintuplets season 2 on Wednesday. The latest video features the third sister Miku. Previously, they streamed videos of Ichiko and Nino the elder two sisters. The remaining two sisters’ videos are upcoming in the following two weeks.

The video focuses on the dialogues and some moments of Miku from the second season. Here’s the clip:

Kaori is directing the new season replacing Satoshi Kuwabara. Also, Keiichirō Ōchi is reprising his role for scripting the series. Meanwhile, Bibury Animation Studio is handling the animation part of the second season replacing Tezuka Productions. In addition, Masato Katsumata is handling the character designs and is also the Chief Animation Director. Hanae Nakamura and Miki Sakurai are reprising their role to compose the music.

The anime features a returning cast from season one of the series. Also, the season two debuts on TBS, SUN TV and BS11. It is airing in January 2021 after the delay from October due to COVID-19. Crunchyroll will once again stream the anime. Whereas, Funimation will offer the English Dub. 

Kodansha comics explains the plot as:

“One day, a poor high school second-year named Futaro Uesugi comes across a private tutoring gig with good pay. But his pupils are his classmates!! They’re quintuplets! They’re all gorgeous girls, but also troublemakers who hate to study and are on the verge of flunking out! And his first task is simply gaining the sisters’ trust?! Every day is a party! The curtain is rising on the Nakano quintuplets’ quirky romantic comedy with five times the cute!!”

It was first published in Kodansha’s Weekly Shounen Magazine in August 2017. Although, the manga of the series recently ended in February.
