One Piece Staff Acknowledges & Clarifies Error In Zoro’s Bounty

His bounty was greatly reduced in the latest chapter of the manga.

The official twitter account of One Piece Staff, acknowledged that they had made a mistake in printing Zoro‘s bounty and put out a tweet revealing the correct number.

One Piece chapter 1058, which released on Aug 29, 2022, in issue #39 of Weekly Shonen Jump in Japan, revealed the bounties of all members of the Straw Hat Crew. However, there seemed to be a discrepancy in Zoro’s bounty when it came to the Japanese and English versions.

The Japanese version put the price on Zoro’s head as 1,111,000 berries, while the English version released by Viz stated the number to be 1,111,000,000 (over a billion berries).

The discrepancy has now been addressed by the staff, who said that Zoro’s bounty printed by Viz was correct. They apologized for the error and said that the error would be corrected in the subsequent prints of the series.
