The original music video of the ending theme song for My Dress-Up Darling performed by Japanese Cosplayer Akari Akase has reached 10 million views. The song, titled “Koi No Yukue” was the debut song of Akari and was released on January 9, 2022.

The video received 1 million views in 14 days. The video features Akase cosplaying as Marin Kitagawa, the lead of the series. She also appears as Shizuku-tan and Black Lobelia, game characters which appear in the anime’s story.

Akase says, “Thank you for the 10 million views of the music video! I am very happy to know that my song and music video are still loved by people even after the anime has finished airing. Even if you have recently watched the Kisekoi anime, there are a lot of gestures and facial expressions that show Marin’s true character while she is in costume and just being herself. So I hope you will pay attention to the pure and innocent lyrics while being excited like, ‘Could it be…!‘”

She further posted on Twitter, “Thank you for 10 million views of the ‘Koi no Yukue’ MV! I am very happy that so many people have watched and listened to it! I hope you enjoy it and find the link with the anime and the feeling of love.
