Several highly anticipated anime premieres for Crunchyroll’s Spring 2024 season have been leaked online ahead of their official release dates.

This includes the first episodes of Sound! Euphonium 3, Chillin’ in Another World With Level 2 Super Cheat Powers, Unnamed Memory, KonoSuba – God’s blessing on this wonderful world! 3, Gods’ Games We Play, The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases, As a Reincarnated Aristocrat, I’ll Use My Appraisal Skill to Rise in the World, and Astro Note anime.

In a statement provided to ANN, Crunchyroll revealed that they are aware of the leaks and is currently investigating the source, but declined further comment at this time.

“We are aware of some content leaks ahead of the Spring season. We are currently investigating the source of the leaks and can’t comment further at this time.“

Although not confirmed, speculation points to recent Crunchyroll pre-screening events at conventions like Sakura Con and Puerto Rico Comic Con (PRCC) in late March. Notably, the PRCC event schedule listed all the leaked titles under “Crunchyroll Premieres”. This raises concern that the event itself may have been compromised.

Social media users are also echoing these suspicions. A Twitter user shared a photo from a PRCC pamphlet highlighting the Crunchyroll Premieres section, which included all the leaked titles.

If the leaks did indeed originate from convention screenings, there’s a chance that other upcoming shows could also surface online before their official premieres.
