On her official Twitter account Mariya Ise, VA of Killua from Hunter X Hunter, announced that she ended her 8 year long marriage. She also mentioned that she will be raising her child alone as a single mother.

She further shared that her son will soon start school and she looks forward to creating new friendships outside her field of work. In addition, she said she’ll overlook her son’s growth as a mother and as a VA. She also added that she seeks support and encouragement from others.

She’ll be reprising her role as Reg in the Made In Abyss: The Golden City of The Scorching Sun.

She has worked on several characters who became fan favourites over the years. The characters include Killua from Hunter X Hunter, Levy McGarden from Fairy Tail, Ray from Promised Neverland, and Foo Fighters from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Stone Ocean. She also voiced Guila in The Seven Deadly Sins, Sophie Omersson in The Forest of Piano, Yukina in Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, and more.

She will be lending her voice to Azami Kurotani in the upcoming Uzumaki: Spiral into Horror anime.
