Jujutsu Kaisen‘s stage play, based on the manga by Gege Akutami, premiered on July 15, 2022, at ‘The Galaxy Theatre‘ in Tokyo. It will be performed till July 31, 2022.

The official photos and video snippets from the stage play have been made available.

The stage play consists of two acts, in which it covers the events of ‘Cursed Child Arc’, ‘Fearsome Womb Arc’, ‘Cursed Training Arc’ and ‘vs. Mahito Arc’ from the Jujutsu Kaisen manga.

Kensaku Kobayashi is directing the stage play, with Kohei Kiyasu handling the screenplay. The stage play was organized by the Jujutsu Kaisen production committee.

Sato, who plays Itadori in the play, thanked the fans for their support and said that there is action, dance, singing, laughter, and emotion in the play. Miura who plays Gojo Satoru said that the actors will try their best to “convey the energy to everyone who sees this work in the theater”.

“Please do not miss the moment when the power of many people and the way of life of our actors meet for the first time,” Miura said.

Director Kobayashi too praised the actors working on the play and said that everyone who comes to watch the stage play will be pleased.

“We hope that everyone who comes to see us will be pleased, and that the original story of Jujutsu Kaisen will shine even more. As you can see from the stage, the actors are shining brightly. stay tuned!”

Meanwhile Toyohara, who plays Nobara in the Jujutsu Kaisen stage play, asked viewers to come see “each character living hard on the stage”.

After performing in Tokyo till 31st, the play will perform from Aug 4-14, 2022, at the at Hotel Mielparque’s event hall in Osaka.
