Jujutsu Kaisen 0’s Blu-ray & DVD Version To Release In September 2022

Both the limited and regular editions of the movie will contain the film in Japanese audio with English and Japanese subtitles, and a 5.1 surround sound mix.

The official website for Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie announced that the Blu-ray and DVD versions of the movie will release on Sep 21, 2022 in Japan. Both the Blu-ray and DVD versions of the movie will have a regular release and a limited edition release.

The cover illustrations are being done by character designer Tadashi Hiramatsu.

Both the limited and regular editions of the movie will contain the film in Japanese audio with English and Japanese subtitles, and a 5.1 surround sound mix.

The limited-edition Blu-ray and DVD version will additionally have an audio commentary on the main disc, as well as a bonus DVD on both formats, consisting the “Cast Stage Greeting Video” and “Voice Comic” of Jujutsu Kaisen #0.5 Tokyo Prefectural Jujutsu High School.

The limited-edition release will also have some extras including audio commentary and two unique booklets. One is a “Visual Book” consisting of all the promotional art from the release, including posters and magazine covers while the other is a “Production Book” that combines a lot of other extra materials and interviews.

The Blu-ray limited edition version (2 discs) is priced at 9,052 yen, the DVD limited edition version (2 discs) costs 8,052 yen, and the Blu-ray regular version is 5,280 yen while the DVD regular version is priced at 4,180 yen.

Jujutsu Kaisen 0 movie is the highest-earning film at the Japanese box office from 2021, surpassing Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time. The film will finally depart Japanese theaters on May 29.

In 43 days from the release, the box office revenue exceeded 10 billion yen, and in 137 days from the release the box office revenue exceeded 13.6 billion yen for attendance of 9.71 million audiences, making it the 15th highest-earning film in Japanese box office history. The film won the Excellent Animation Work Award at the 45th Japan Academy Prize.
