The 30+ Best Ecchi Anime Series That Bring In The Heat!

We know anime constitutes an extensive spectrum of genres like shounen, shoujo, comedy etc. One such genre is Ecchi. Now many new anime fans might not be accustomed to this word however veteran anime fans know what it is.

So for those who do not know what Ecchi anime mean, fear not when I am here.

What Is Ecchi Anime?

Simply put, Ecchi Anime is a genre with predominantly intimate themes, though it can be combined with other genres as well. It highlights things like mature jokes & scenes, and partially dressed characters, and implies salacious matters indirectly.

Now that you know what it constitutes, we can go easy on the Ecchi anime genre with the *raised eyebrow* look. It may seem like it’s solely focused on fan service but that is not the case. There are many that have a solid storyline, unique characters, action, and adventure. But yes, those themes are still very present, front and centre.

30+ Best Ecchi Anime Of All Time

Best Ecchi Anime Series

Let us have a look at the 30+ best Ecchi anime from this commonly misunderstood genre.

32. Fairy Tail

Fairy Tail

As is tradition, fantasy, and this genre usually go hand in hand. In a world of magicians and warriors who dress the part, you can expect some revealing outfits. We follow Lucy Heartfilia, who, like the other characters in this show, has accentuated curves that aren’t necessarily important to the plot.

Her dream of joining a wizard’s guild comes true when she runs into Natsu Dragneel, a skilled fire user and son of a dragon, who is searching for his ferocious parent. Lucy is inducted into the Fairy Tail guild, one of the topmost of its kind.

They team up with others to take down evil guilds, demons, and other enemy entities that disturb the peace.

These teammates include Ezra Scarlet, a gorgeous warrior with red hair, and the ice wizard Gray Fullbuster, an extremely fit dude who seems to take off his shirt very often, revealing his toned abs. Together they aim to overcome the ultimate antagonist, the evil dark wizard Zeref.

Scarlet, Gray, and Lucy are usually the characters doing the unnecessary undressing or wearing clothes that don’t cover much. Expect Lucy to show off her Oppai very regularly and also wear outfits like cat ears and such.

It kind of teases us but in a casual way, like they are trying not to draw attention.

In terms of the Ecchi aspect, it is kept to a minimum here and focused more on action, but there are scenes of underdressed characters regularly. The animation style is different but you will grow used to it. It is smooth flowing though and the plot and character development are there, though not much depth to it.

Some visually “advisable” scenes and lots of action and magic. If that’s your thing, add Fairy Tail to your watchlist of Ecchi Anime.

31. How Not To Summon A Demon Lord

How Not To Summon A Demon Lord

I would like to put emphasis on the “not” part of the title as Rem and Shera probably regret summoning the invincible Demon Lord Diablo, or at least Takuma Sakamoto, your average high schooler. He gets isekai’d into his favorite video game Cross Reverie!

While trying to summon a powerful demon to work for them, Diablo is in luck as a malfunction causes him to become the master of his summoners, Rem and Shera. Together they need to fight a horde of magical creatures and complete the game! Takuma must navigate his overpowered status, and interact with the characters he once only controlled with a mouse and keyboard.

This ecchi comedy anime offers 2 seasons’ worth of ecchi and comedy scenes to make you laugh for days.

30. A Sister’s All You Need

Imouto Sae Ireba Li

I don’t know how but the writer managed to make this ecchi comedy anime shallow yet deep. Very controversial yet wholesome to an extent.

For some reason, the novelist protagonist is obsessed with writing the peak ‘little sister’ character possible. Surrounded by his friends (one of whom is a dirty-minded novelist who has a crush on him) and a little brother who cooks and cares for them, life is a breeze for the most part.

There is no major conflict as such and the show has a more drama/slice-of-life theme to it. They live their day-to-day life with heaps and loads of sensual innuendos. Most of the time it seems unnecessary but the writers added it anyway.

Why does Itsuki dream so much about writing the ‘little sister’ character so much? Watch it and you can speculate based on how much you learn about each of the characters.

29. Harem In The Labyrinth Of Another World

Harem In The Labyrinth Of Another World

Here is another one for the RPG and open-world gaming fans. Imagine you could transport into your favourite game and play as your customized character. That is what happened to high schooler Michio Kaga.

While playing an online medieval fantasy-adventure game, he wakes up in a village inside the game.

Michio is confused at first but soon figures out what happened. He seems to have stats and an inventory as well, just like we do in most games. Although, unlike our case, this guy actually starts with an over-leveled sword. Go figure.

He does this sort of side quest by defending the village against bandits and is rewarded. But there is nothing to celebrate as he realizes he cannot log out.

Once he accepts his predicament, Michio decides to play out the game and enjoy it since it is open-world, meaning he can do as he pleases (kind of). Over time, he acquires 5 apprentices, all female, who are to assist him on quests and keep him company, if you know what I mean.

This includes Roxanne the wolfkin, Sherry the dwarf, Miria the catkin, Vesta the dragonkin, and Rutina the elf.

As for the Ecchi aspect, the characters aren’t always scantily clad but they are unnaturally curvy and there are many intimate scenes between the protagonist and his accomplices. There are also themes of sensual nature like the red-light district.

Overall, it focuses on Michio and his quests and how he gets along with his group of 5.

There are intimate scenes between Michio and his “Harem” since they live in close quarters and basically, that’s why they tagged along with him. He seems to enjoy checking out these voracious sidekicks of his from top to bottom.

The quests do get redundant as it is basically him trying to get a reward, though the action scenes are decent as they all have special skills in combat. Since it can be described as linear and shallow in plot and character development, it ranks lower in the list of the top 25 Ecchi Anime.

28. Chobits

Chobits

When talking to real girls becomes difficult, you always have the humanoid computers called persocoms to keep you company. The latest technological advancement is a personal computer resembling a human to make life easier.

One such defective Persocom is discovered by Hideki Motosuwa, who struggles to switch it on and later finds that the button is in a very intimate place. Sounds about right for an ecchi comedy anime. Don’t let the dirty jokes and perverted fantasies of Hideki throw you off track thinking this is a random ecchi show, as there is a lot of depth to it.

Unable to download data to this particular Android, Hideki must do everything manually. Not to mention she is only able to say the word “chi” and is extremely affectionate towards him from the first moment.

This ecchi comedy anime goes on to explore the ‘what-if’ of a developing relationship between man and machine. Is it a casual bond, or is this the rumored “Chobit”, a special robot capable of emotions and free will? That would drastically change both their lives.

Most of the funny scenes involve Hideki teaching Chi (he names her after the word she kept repeating) words, behaviors, and how to function in daily life. Even more so she is a bit naive and Hideki is serious about teaching but makes no progress on some days. The animation is decent, and so is their character-building and storyline. It’s a must-watch for all anime viewers.

27. Mayo Chiki

Mayo Chiki

Life can take unexpected turns when indulged in any form of extreme activity and Mayo Chiki is here to prove it. Kinjirou Sakamichi trained in professional wrestling for years and can withstand punches of any kind (maybe not Saitama’s) but a particular thing succeeds in dealing both physical and psychological damage to him.

He has developed Gynophobia or fear of ladies, and he loses himself completely in front of a woman. He experiences nightmares worse than Luffy drowning in water upon a touch. His story takes another turn when he meets the most popular student in the school, Subaru Konoe.

Subaru in turn is the butler of the principal’s daughter Kanade Suzutski and they both decide to help Kinjirou with his problem. It is going to be that simple? Nosebleeds, tummy-aching laughs, and some ecchi content sprinkled on top make it a watch worthwhile!

26. Zero No Tsukaima

Zero No Tsukaima

Like a little magic to go with your ecchi comedy anime? Well, we got you covered. After accidentally being summoned by the low-skilled Louise to a magic academy, Saito Hiraga is subjected to mistreatment and borderline abuse by her as he becomes her familiar.

Could she be projecting her lack of talent on him? or is there some other romantic feeling involved? One could speculate many reasons for her behavior. But Saito has the attention of many ladies that he comes across, giving this ecchi comedy anime a harem anime vibe.

Most of the ladies he meets are curvy, bodacious women with very attractive faces. Expect to see lots of PDA and underdressed scenes, but they casually throw it in there. Not trying to make a big deal out of some exposure and raunchy scenes here and there.

You would be surprised at the plot development as it actually gets deep despite having the ecchi and ‘mean’ comedy front and center initially. This is not a casual watch. There are underdressed characters, cleavages shown on purpose, romantic comedy scenes, and such, but the story, magic, and action do play their role.

25. Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?

Kore Wa Zombie Desu Ka?

If you had to turn into a zombie but get pretty girls as soon as you woke up, would ya do it? Ayumu Aikawa didn’t really have a choice but he probably might have picked the same considering these are very attractive women.

He becomes the unfortunate victim of a serial killer and passes away, only to be woken up by an alluring necromancer named Eucliwood, who explains to him that she revived him, but as a zombie! He is then joined by Yuki, Haruna, and Seraphim and the group aims to take down monsters known as ‘megalos’.

No worries for the ecchi comedy anime enjoyers as the scenes are plenty. Be it bathing and towel scenes, cleavage and bikini scenes, or even kissing scenes, there are more than enough of them. The extra perk is the ladies are really gorgeous with their hair, eyes, and curves so it is better for the fan service.

As for the comedy, you will only laugh if you like slapstick, loud and violent comedy. There are obviously slower awkward scenes as he lives with the girls and he’s coping with being a zombie, but for the majority, it is either him being bullied by them or physically being mauled or hit in some way.

24. Senran Kagura

Senran Kagura

What is the most important skill a ninja must practice? According to Senran Kagura, it seems to be lewdness.

The lead character Asuka, along with her companions Ikaruga, Katsuragi, Tagyu, and Hibari train in the “deadly” ways of ninjutsu under the shady and handsome Kiriya at the legendary Hanzo academy.

The girls hone their skills and realize their weaknesses and strengths (but mostly weaknesses) as they fight to keep another rival school with malicious intent. They definitely do focus on the ninja and action aspect a bit, with swordsmanship and stuff, but not in a very serious way.

Now for the other aspects of this Ecchi anime, let us put it like this: Very mesmerizing and attractive ninja girls. The animators don’t try to hide the fact that they want you to pay attention to the ninjas’ full figure. Let us not leave out Ikaruga, who seems to have a fondness for being very touchy.

They may be clothed for the most part, but easily find instances to don bikinis. A lot of scenes of them bending over or in motion draw attention to their bodies. Even openly erotic scenes where they eat ice cream seductively, imply adult themes, but in a silly way.

It is not so serious but has some decent action, much lewdness, and implied sensual jokes. Hence making it a well-rounded, yet not so intense Ecchi anime.

23. Phantom Hunter Miko

Phantom Hunter Miko

In a world where creatures called phantoms exist (ghosts basically, who keep possessing people), there is a need for hunters who rid of these nuisances. One such skilled phantom hunter is Jinguuji Miko, the heroine of this Ecchi anime.

She uses her very cool supernatural abilities to exorcise these phantoms and send them where they came from. The animation of her using these abilities is pretty neat to see, though the style of animation of the whole thing is very early 2000s.

Assisting the attractive Miko, is her male spectacled assistant, Kanda Rokuro. He himself has some shirtless scenes where you can see his defined abs, though his wet dreams of Miko are a fantasy and the only action he gets with her as their relationship is strictly professional.

Another assistant is Mao, who has a crush on Rokuro and eventually manages to trick him into bed once by saying she is leaving the country when it was all a ploy to be with him. There are many bikini scenes from both the main cast as well as side characters.

The sensual scenes are implied and we are given a glimpse but doesn’t always go too much into showing them.

This Ecchi anime without a doubt has adult jokes and references in an immature way, nevertheless probably better for a mature audience. Hot girls, phantoms, and some relationship development with Rokuro would be my way of summarizing the main highlights.

22. Medaka Box Abnormal

Medaka Box Abnormal

The sequel to the original Medaka Box, the Abnormal version continues to follow the eccentric and overpowered student council president, Medaka Kurokami. This season takes a more action-packed and dramatic turn compared to its predecessor.

For starters, Medaka is the definition of the perfect student who is known for completing requests of assistance that any student offers through the “Medaka Box”. As she helps more and more, things get complicated and she realizes that some problems can be tougher than others.

A new season means new problems and new enemies, and this anime balances action, humor, and character development as it explores themes of power, morality, and the consequences of wielding immense strength. Oh, and ecchi. Yes. Ecchi!!

21. Freezing

Freezing

When the Earth comes under attack by invading aliens called Novas, Humanity’s only option is special fighter girls called Pandoras, who has a rare gene that enables them to have heightened speed, strength, and physicality overall.

They are assisted by guys who use ‘freezing fields’ to slow down the Novas and are called Limiters.

This action and Ecchi anime centers around the Pandora Satellizer, known as the “untouchable Queen” due to her being a deadly force and attitude, and her Limiter, the timid yet strong Kazuya.

The duo has to overcome the politics and hidden mysteries of a military school where they train and uncover many things behind the curtain.

Watching the Pandoras fight is pretty cool as they all have unique powers, skills, and weapons they can use. But it seems like clothes coming off at every second.

Be prepared for many exposed bottoms and large Chi-chi on the screen constantly, whether they are changing or in battle, this is a common sight.

All the Pandoras are very salacious but have big attitudes, especially toward those that rank lower. There is sufficient action and story, but low character development.

The fight scenes are something to note and there aren’t many inappropriate talks, but lots and lots of exposure from the Pandora ladies in this Ecchi Anime.

20. Sunabouzu

Sunabouzu

Sunabouzu is a unique entry to this list. Not set in your usual high school/student life, it in fact adapts the post-apocalyptic theme, where Japan consists of nothing but destroyed structures and sand dunes. This led many to adapt to the harsh conditions and make a name for themselves.

One such enigmatic character is Sunabouzu or Desert Punk, who has gained legendary status for always completing his jobs, regardless of the cost or danger of the mission. As ruthless or professional as he may sound, he is weak to females with large chests, as his insatiable lust for them makes him vulnerable.

This caused Junko Asagari, a rival of Desert Punk to use him as a puppet as she matches the exact aforementioned features. Blending dark humor, action, and a unique dystopian setting, this ecchi anime explores the world that has been destroyed by their forefathers, in a bizarre way.

19. Sekirei

Sekirei

Alien battle royale? Count me in! The title Sekirei refers to the genetically manipulated ET girls of the series called by the same name. They were modified by the shady MBI Corporation run by Hiroto Minaka.

There are a total of 108 of these Sekirei and they must bond with a human and compete in an all-out battle royale to win.

Enter our 19-year-old central character Minato Sahashi. After finding out he failed entrance exams to a university for the second time, he is glum and downtrodden, but his day quickly shifts when a stunning and curvy Sekirei falls on him.

It seems Minato has the gene to be “Ashikabi”, the one who bonds with Sekirei, and Musubi, the alien girl, wants to bond with him.

The theme takes a sort of harem turn as many other Sekirei desire to be with Minato and he bonds with multiple ones. Lucky guy, as they are all cute and affectionate, with pleasant voices.

This leads to them living together in close quarters, causing multiple intimate and awkward scenes for Minato.

Things like sleeping close by, changing, bathing, and more. The girls are commonly shown in undergarments or fully undressed as they seem comfortable with him and seek intimacy with Minato.

Some action and the Sekirei have elemental types and the strengths and weaknesses that come with them, this adds some flair to the combat system.

I would say this doesn’t go too much in either direction of action or harem, but it still has strong tones of some sensual material. It gives this kind of Ecchi anime meets slice-of-life feeling.

18. Rosario + Vampire

Rosario + Vampire

I welcome you to the bizarre world of “Rosario + Vampire,” a thrilling ecchi comedy anime that is based on a supernatural setting, but hilarious and just a tad bit romantic. Tsukune Aono, our unsuspecting hero, finds himself enrolling at Yokai Academy, a school for monsters hidden from the human world.

With a decidedly supernatural twist, this series isn’t your typical high school drama. Amidst vampires, succubi, and werewolves, Tsukune encounters the alluring Moka Akashiya, a vampire beauty with a split personality. Her rosary acts as a seal to her more menacing vampire self, keeping her sweet and friendly most of the time. However, things get intense when the rosary comes off.

This ecchi comedy anime offers a blend of action and fan service. Tsukune finds himself in a variety of ridiculous, and often perilous, situations as he navigates a school teeming with supernatural beings!

17. Haganai

Haganai

In the realm of high school life, where friendships are formed and alliances shift like the tides, there exists a unique and offbeat ecchi anime known as Haganai. Here, you won’t find the usual clique of friends; instead, you’ll be introduced to a band of misfits who, in their own peculiar way, find a sense of belonging.

Kodaka Hasegawa, our protagonist, has a problem: his intimidating face and blonde hair lead everyone to believe he’s a delinquent. However, beneath his tough exterior lies a kind heart and a desire for meaningful connections. As always, it all changes when he meets a fellow loner Yozora.

As they both agree upon their similarity in difficulties, they form the neighbor’s club where they learn social skills in order to overcome loneliness. Despite the presence of comedic and ecchi elements, this turns out to be a rather fun watch, with the ability to pull out a low-key banger in 13 episodes!

16. Heaven’s Lost Property:

Sora no Otoshimono

Sora no Otoshimono, also known as Heaven’s Lost Property, is another cultured anime that blends elements of comedy, romance, supernatural themes, and our favorite, ecchi! Now before I get labelled as an absolute degen, let’s talk about this ecchi comedy anime for a bit.

Tomoki Sakurai is our next character waiting to find his plot trigger and it happens in the form of receiving an angel from the sky, named Ikaros, who has the ability to grant her master’s wishes. Tomoki becomes her master and, together with other Angeloids, they embark on a series of comedic and occasionally heartfelt adventures.

Tomoki now with the help of the New World Discovery Club has to learn more about the Angeloids and strange phenomena occurring in the sky and it is up to the voluptuous Ikaros to guide them further! This anime will provide a healthy dose of fan service and humor.

15. To Love Ru

To Love Ru

Why do these protagonists always get girls falling in them from the sky? WHY!? Let’s rewind a bit. Rito Yuuki is a typical junior, school life, shy, and a stand-up guy for the most part. The focus of his affection is Haruna Sairenji, his crush for as long as he can remember.

Like most of these heroes, he is hesitant to confess his feelings to Haruna. And whoop de doo. Out of nowhere, one fateful day, a very eye-catching girl falls on him while he is bathing.

We find out that this is Lala, the princess of an alien empire who has run away to avoid her marriage, which is just a move for political alliance.

These guys don’t even try to get the prettiest girls, right? Because what proceeds to happen is Lala and Rito fall into this young-love romance, but still in the early stages where they are shy and nervous around the other, but still caring and openly considerate of each other’s well-being.

I wouldn’t say this show takes any particular direction or strong aim after that, it kind of just shows their daily life and the usual school drama, jealousy, romance, etc. What you can be prepared for is pervy jokes and scenes, scantily dressed athletes, and just gag humour.

The scenes are also comical and unrealistic at times, like a sword cracking the school ground in half, etc. Think looney tunes. The characters’ voices and generic tone are also very silly and a bit rushed. But for the sole purpose of entertainment and lewdness, you can watch and enjoy this Ecchi anime.

14. Tsugumomo

Tsugumomo

Tsugumomo combines action-packed battles with ecchi humor, often featuring playful and suggestive content. The plot is triggered when Kazuya Kagami finds an obi (a piece of cloth with a ribbon on a kimono) in her late mother’s belongings.

To his shock, the obi transforms into a beautiful and powerful girl named Kiriha, a Tsukumogami, a spirit born from objects! They will have to solve puzzles, take on fearsome foes, and face the darker side of the paranormal as they make their way through this universe.

Like many others mentioned before, it may present a lot of fanservice and comedy from the outside but the anime succeeds in portraying true relationships and building mutual trust. A great ecchi comedy anime to watch, it deals also deals well with the supernatural aspect.

13. Food Wars

Food Wars

Food and Ecchi don’t go together, right? Wrong. A culmination of eloquence is how I can describe this. Souma Yukihira is our central character here.

He is a handsome and outgoing sous chef who works at his father’s restaurant. A man who is very passionate and creative with what he does, easily impressing the ladies with his culinary pieces.

Unfortunately, his father closes down business leaving Souma wondering the next steps to take. This is when the main story starts as the esteemed Tootsuki Culinary Academy comes into the picture. A place of competition, politics, and high achievers in the kitchen.

Souma enrolls here and begins a journey of learning, flirting with girls, cooking up the best dishes, and honing his craft. Speaking of flirting, almost all the girls featured are extremely curvy and pretty, the show makes a point to highlight this.

Be prepared for lots and lots of skirts flying up, moaning, women & men experiencing physical pleasure from testing tasty food (a bit dramatic but what can you do), and so on. Even the food is sometimes personified and shown in a seductive way which is either funny or weird.

This Ecchi anime actually has a decent storyline and character development instead of just claiming to have it. Souma is a well-written dude and the food wars, or “Shokugeki” are pretty entertaining themselves. A must-watch for all anime fans.

12. Bakemonogatari

Bakemonogatari

Here’s another high school horror fantasy for the books. Bakemonogatari explores the possibility of reversing supernatural phenomena like vampirism. The first instance of this takes place with one of two central characters, Koyomi Araragi.

Although he is able to rid of it with the help of a strange man named Oshino, side effects like super healing still persist in his body.

The story is basically that he helps others who have had some sort of supernatural occurrence to them or someone around them. This includes vampires or ghosts and such. One such person is the other central character, Hitagi. Though initially hesitant, she eventually accepts Koyomi’s offer to help her.

It seems most of the characters seeking help from Kiyami are women, and very attractive ones at that. Most of them fall for his sweet charms. Most of the raunchy and underdressed scenes are with Hitagi though.

Despite being Ecchi, there is actually a good amount of action and character development for the two protagonists. The storyline seems a bit flat though. The humor you can leave or take, but for the full-on Ecchi anime fans there are few scenes with Hitagi and still the large crowd of gorgeous girls surrounding Kiyomi.

It takes on more of a harem theme and keeps a medium pace. If you like the supernatural and Ecchi, go for this.

11. Monster Musume

Monster Musume

Imagine there are multiple humanoid species existing on Earth. How would we assimilate them into society? This is the premise explored by Monster Musume. A futuristic world where semi-humanoid species of creatures like Lamia, centaurs, etc. exist. Japan has the initiative to test how they would fit into our society.

Enter our unsuspecting hero, Kimihito Kurusu, a laid-back guy who is just enjoying living independently. Until one day, Agent Smith from this interspecies initiative shows up at his door with a stunning Lamia girl. He is tasked with being her host, as all species must reside with a human host. I think you know where this is going.

One way or another, Kimihito ends up playing host to many more monster girls who end up at his place. The main conflict? All of them are alluring, gorgeous, and with large bosoms. Not to mention they can’t stop making advances at Kimihito. Each of them tries their own technique to try and seduce him.

But that’s where the catch is, as any interspecies relationship is forbidden by the government. The best part of Monster Musume is it doesn’t try to sell the show as something else like action or adventure. It owns its Ecchi identity and does it well.

First of all the concept is clever, and that coupled with the fact that the characters are well-designed is ideal. The idea and sensual tension introduced is also done creatively, with lots of intense scenes where Kimihito must struggle to keep his morality.

Monster Musume steps up the standards of Ecchi anime and sticks to it. No side story, clickbait plots, etc. Just attractive girls, steamy scenes, and a timid male protagonist.

10. Yuuna And The Haunted Hot Springs

Yuuna and the Haunted Hot Springs

Would you consider a very attractive ghost girl, scary or enticing? It doesn’t matter to protagonist Fuyuzora Kogarashi though, because he merely seeks to help others and be that noble shounen role model.

Trained by a monk, highly skilled psychic Kogarashi uses his abilities to help with supernatural problems.

He moves into a supposedly haunted hot springs, which he gets for cheap. Now he has a place to stay and a job of exorcising the ghost. Just one problem, the ghost is a tantalizing girl.

His only intentions though are to help her find out why she is still anchored to earth, and this serves as the main plot.

The other residents, though few in number, are also supernatural in nature and have the hots for Kogarashi. This leads to many scenes of them trying to get sensual with him, but he usually rejects them in a gentlemanly manner. Do not be alarmed though, as this is still an ecchi anime.

Almost every episode has large Oppai of some sort making an appearance, and even the humour is very gag-like, but sometimes so silly it is funny.

This leads to many instances of Kogarashi slipping and falling face-first into the above-mentioned oppai. This Ecchi anime surprisingly has a decent storyline and character depth for the protagonist.

If you like large bosoms, a moral and OP psychic central character, and the supernatural theme overall with mindless humour, Yuuna will fulfil those needs.

9. High School Of The Dead

High School Of The Dead

We have all daydreamed about how we would save everyone if a random zombie apocalypse started. Except here, it actually does. A random outbreak of zombie infection takes over Japan, leaving Takashi Kimuro to defend himself and his now-deceased friend’s girlfriend, Rei Miyamoto.

It become this kind of post-apocalyptic world where you gotta fight to survive. Joining the initial pair are the gorgeous Saeko, Kouta, Saya Takagi, and the voluptuous school nurse, Shizuka. Together they must stop waves of undead and see if any they knew was still alive.

I would say the action and zombie aspect is actually exciting in this Ecchi anime. You have swordsmen and hun slingers taking down undead left and right. You have a hot nurse and side characters in short outfits showing off their thighs etc.

More than enough cleavage and bare bottoms to keep the Ecchi fan satisfied. Though it doesn’t do crude jokes as opposed to other ecchi anime on this list.

It’s fast-paced action, horror, and Ecchi anime and very well-rounded in terms of characters, plot, fights, and exposure. The art style is a bit old school though and could use some work.

8. Interspecies Reviewer

Interspecies Reviewers

If you liked the previous Ecchi anime concept, this one will blow you over. Interspecies reviewer isn’t just toying with the idea of the previous one, but takes it to a whole new level and embraces it. It takes place in a world of multispecies co-existing already and where brothels are legal.

This leads to an important question. Which species is ideal for hanky-panky?

To answer this question, we have the central duo, the human Stunk, and his elf companion, Zel. The aim is to have as many escapades at as many brothels as possible in order to review how pleasing each species is in bed. Yes, that is their whole job.

Now comes episode after episode of bedding, travelling, and repeating. The plot and premise are fairly simple, but because of the many species, there is something new to look forward to. Expect lots and lots of seduction, intimacy, exposed bottoms and tops, and so on.

Each species has its own advantages and disadvantages so those get factored in as all. Some boast better Oppai, some better faces, some no faces at all, others tails and backsides, and so on. The show takes a humorous tone for the most part, so you can enjoy the Ecchi all while having a good laugh.

7. No Game No Life

No Game No Life

No Game No Life? More like No Second Season, No Life. Before I remind fans of their fate, it is important to realize the massive fan following this anime has garnered over the years, despite any signs of a sequel.

Step siblings Sora and Shiro are masters of online games and operate under a single alias known as Blank. On a fateful day, they are mysteriously transported to Disboard, a place where the strong prevail through – games! As they both meet more people on their journey, the duo gets dragged into regal issues.

Easily one of the most loved anime ever, this anime is also known for its questionable themes such as Sora’s sis con with Shiro and other characters who do not hesitate in doing anything to take out information or defeat their opponents but none less, it’s never to late to catch up on this masterpiece of a show!

6. Urusei Yatsura

Urusei Yatsura

If there was a competition to save Earth from invading aliens, someone with as bad luck as Ataru Moroboshi would be the last choice that could pick. The lecherous boy who can be distracted by any woman walking down the street is not an ideal candidate.

Unfortunately, he is, and to make matters worse his competitor is the princess of the alien race. The whole Ecchi show is basically a beatdown on Ataru by all of society. It shows his life in a very humorous way, what it is like to stick out like a sore thumb.

As an added bonus to stick it to him, his treasured relationship with his girlfriend Shinobu is wrecked when a misunderstanding leads to the alien princess, Lum, wanting to marry Ataru.

Consequently, she moves in with him, against his will. I mean what can you do? The alternative was them invading.

On one side he is a womanizer. On another, he worries about Shinobu. And yet another he must deal with Lum moving in.

Lum is usually the sensually showcased character here. Mostly revealing tops or clothes falling off. Though it is not too cringe with the Ecchi.

It kind of just goes with the funny tone of the entire series. There is some character depth to be noted in terms of Ataur as he does eventually show his kind and heartwarming side, something refreshing from his usual shallowness of chasing women.

The show does not take the Ecchi aspect too intensely so if you prefer something lighter, here’s your pick.

5. Ranma 1/2

Ranma 1/2

Would you prefer if one person played the role of the male AND female protagonist? Probably weird for all of us but Ranma 1/2 dives straight in. Pun intended, let me explain.

Ranma Saotome is an extremely skilled martial artist with the typical shounen male attitude. Bad luck befalls him while training in China as he falls into a cursed spring, which causes him to turn into a girl when in contact with cold water. Hot water can turn him back to normal but this is still quite the predicament.

Even more so a problem as he is supposed to carry on the legacy of the Dojo by marrying one of Soun Tendo’s daughters. The duty falls to the youngest, Akane, who has a severe dislike towards men.

The only thing Akane and Ranma have in common is their drive and passion for martial arts and training. Could this bring the two together? You will have to watch and see this classic 80s/90s Ecchi Anime.

The art style is very very 90’s vintage Ecchi Anime. If you prefer modern ones, you’ll have trouble with this. But do keep in mind when this show aired and rate it accordingly. Very open-minded for its time as there are no bikini scenes but cleavages and bathing scenes etc.

It keeps a limit on vulgarity and such, but very hilarious with the jokes and interactions with the characters. The story is kind of there but does not have a top-priority goal as such. This show is for those who want to enjoy a casual series with mostly comedy, action, and some revealing scenes.

4. Golden Boy

Golden Boy

Some people are book smart and some are street smart. It would be ideal to be both, though, for the latter, only the school of real life can teach you a thing or two. This makes Kintarou Ooe, our protagonist, drop out of college to travel and find odd jobs and thus learn new skills.

His means of transport is his Mikazuki 5, a very speedy bicycle. In doing so, he is able to pick up on human mentality, corruption in society, and most of all, dazzling women. Pretty much everywhere he goes, there is always some woman who grabs his attention.

Kintarou is not your typical Ecchi hero though, as he is noble and helpful. His mind is a bit perverse and spends a lot of time daydreaming, but he also helps those in need and sympathizes with people. Though this is an old-school anime, they did not shy out of the Ecchi part. Bareness, intercourse, and foreplay are all shown in this Ecchi Anime, just sticking to its genre.

Most characters are scantily clad, at least for that time period. Kintarou does get steamy, albeit funny, scenes with those women that he meets. He has this sort of unorganized charm to him that attracts these women. Be prepared for continuous perverse jokes and scenes, double entendre, and more.

Sometimes he ends up having urges and fantasies at inappropriate times, leading to hilarious outcomes. Other than this aspect though, he is a wholesome guy, who works hard and has that determined protagonist personality.

Suitable for more of a mature audience.

3. Nisemonogatari And Tsukimonogatari

Nisemonogatari And Tsukimonogatari

Say hello to the sequel to the Monogatari series we saw earlier. Both of these are kind of stand-alone Ecchi anime in the sense that not too much background info is needed to watch. We see the return of Kyomi Araragi in both, though Tsukimonogatari showcases him dealing with vampirism whereas Nisemonogatari focuses more on his sisters, Karen and Tsukihi.

Nisemonogatari features more of those lovely ladies with supernatural abilities/ problems showing up whereas in Tsukimonogatari we meet the human-like doll called Yotsugi Ononoki. Like its prequel, they keep in touch with the Ecchi scenes.

Comparatively, Tsukimonogatari might not focus on it much but the pair have more than enough tingling scenes to show. This includes exposed bodies, seductive voices, fantasizing about another, and so on.

It doesn’t have much vulgarity with respect to jokes and such but there are intimate scenes, underdressed characters, and even Araragi being used in the fan service by showing off his toned body. The characters are also much more expressive with the seduction.

If you don’t believe me, look at their eyes and you will.

An Ecchi anime consisting of a supernatural touch and heavy fan service for all types of audiences alike.

2. High School DXD

High School DXD

Remember the Twilight series, where werewolves and vampires casually strolled into school and no one batted an eye?

Yeah, that’s High School DXD but with supernatural beings (reminiscent of angelic beings and demons). In the midst of this conundrum and power struggle, you have the peeping tom and debauched Issei Hyoudou.

His lustful ways land him in big trouble after one of these beings lures him on a date and kills him. Talk about looks that can kill. You guessed it. Every character featured is pretty much a 10, model material, but with some supernatural aura or feature about them.

Luckily, the president of the occult club, Rias Gremory, a demon, revives him. But due to the nature of his return, he is subject to serve her. Thus commences a whole new life for Issei where he must fight just to survive and learn to adapt to the politics and ways of living with these beings.

One of the most popular Ecchi anime of our time. There are undergarment shots almost everywhere you look. Some notable characters are Rias herself, a very seductive leader, then there’s Akeno, flirty and well endowed.

Followed by Koneko, who can be described as the loli for regular anime fans. And of course, there are many more side characters who are as sizzling as these.

They made no attempt to hide the fan service, it is open and out there on screen. Oppai, bottoms, and all. Sensual scenes are in heaps. Lots of dirty jokes and lewd scenes with cringe music, hot and heavy voices, and so on.

There is surprisingly a decent plot that goes on but it seems to be the secondary focus. This is tailored for supernatural Ecchi fans.

1. Prison School

Prison School

Just 5 boys in a school of almost 1000 girls. That was the initial situation at the strict and esteemed Hachimitsu Private Academy after they made the decision to allow boys to enrol. A trial of sorts.

The lucky 5 include Shingo, Kiyoshi, Jo, Andre, and Gakuto, all five of whom are very energetic and eager to know the girls, one way or another. The Academy rules on the other hand are very tight-knit and don’t allow much freedom. This causes these hormone-crazed boys to seek out the girls and get caught in the process by the Underground Council.

The Council is a group of privileged and serious women who hate their guts. As a punishment, they are forced the stay at the prison school, hence the title, where they are subject to torture of any means by the council.

This starts a series of beatings, spankings, and humiliation for the boys. Kiyoshi finds out that some of the boys end up enjoying it. These girls kind of play the role of a dominant punisher, showing their superiority in all their methods. Themes of kink, humiliation, and dominance are all explored here but kept comical.

The outfits are skimpy as is, with very tight tops and short skirts. The boys also are shirtless, with some having visible abs and muscles. Kurihara, the leader of the council, is always showing off her large chi-chi. Many sensual scenes occur during punishment like sitting on the boys’ faces, spanking them, making them undress, etc.

There’s a reason this show ranks 1 and it’s because it goes over the line of casual Ecchi. The overall tone is aimed to be comedy but there is also some sadism incorporated here. Overpacked with steamy scenes and shots of the characters, this anime is not for the casual viewer.

Conclusion

This brings our giggle-worthy list to an end. Ecchi anime can range from very subtle to highly intense like our rank 1. It can be solely Ecchi or coupled up someday or supernatural themes to keep the viewer interested. You know, for those who don’t simply desire to see only the intimate scenes. There is something out there regardless of your preference but probably all are more for the mature audience. Go ahead and start exploring this genre and expand your anime taste!
