Chainsaw Man author Tatsuki Fujimoto’s twitter account, in which he posed as his “imaginary” sister, Koharu-chan, has been taken down by Twitter due to age restrictions on the platform.

The information was revealed by Shonen Jump+ editor Shihei Lin, who added that Fujimoto was currently in contact with Twitter over this matter.

Fujimoto often roleplayed as his sister on the account, saying she was in the third-year of her elementary school. And while most of the tweets from Koharu usually portrayed Fujimoto as her brother, the author did break out of character multiple times to thank his assistants.

The author also name-dropped himself recently on the account, informing followers that he would be putting out live tweets as he watched the Chainsaw Man anime episodes.

Though Fujimoto was posing to be his sister, the editorial department of Shueisha apparently knew that the account belonged to the author.

Lin asked fans to wait for a while before Koharu-chan starts tweeting again.

Fujimoto published his first serialized manga, Fire Punch, in Shueisha’s Shōnen Jump+ online magazine. It began serialization on April 18, 2016 and was collected into eight tankobon volumes.

The author’s second major work Chainsaw Man, began serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from December 3, 2018. Part two of the manga started serializing on Shonen Jump+ from July 13, 2022.

In the past, fans had even suspected Fujimoto of publishing new manga under the name of a rookie author.
