Author Yasuki Tanaka‘s suspense manga Summer Time Rendering will release a 2-part spin-off manga prior to the anime release later this April.
The spin-off titled Summer Time Rendering 2026 Mizen Jikobukken will be published back to back on April 14 and 15 on Shueisha’s Shonen Jump+ App.
No information about the plot of the spin-off is available as of yet.
Tanaka launched the manga on Shonen Jump+ in October 2017, and the manga’s 13th and final volume shipped on April 2. Shueisha launched its MANGA Plus service with the English version of the manga in Jan 2019.
An anime television series adaptation by OLM is set to premiere on April 15 at 4:25 am on Disney+. A live-action adaptation and a real escape game have also been announced.
Furthermore, last month the main female protagonist Kofune Ushio was chosen as the first anime tourism ambassador of Wakayama Prefecture, Japan.
