As seen from the trends on X (formerly Twitter), One Piece Gear 5 is labelled as Peak Fiction. Whereas, Crunchyroll is trending for its inability to stream the episode without breaking down.

Also, fans are grateful to Toei for the amazing episode and for doing justice to the manga.

Although, Luffys’ Gear 5 stole the show for many. Some fans were also impressed by another character from the series and the voice acting behind the character.

That character is Hiyori, as you see from the screenshots of the trending things on X, Hiyori Kozuki is also trending with Gear 5.

Here’s what fans have to say about Hiyori:

Although many fans rejoiced over the studio also doing justice to Hiyori some wanted the episode to be entirely focused on Luffy’s Gear 5. To which the person below gave a fitting reply:

However, this isn’t the first time an anime episode has “broken the internet”, previously, anime like Attack On Titan, Dragon Ball Super and Demon Slayer have made the servers of Anime streaming sites crash due to an overload of traffic.

However, One Piece fans claim otherwise and firmly believe that Gear 5 has surpassed all the previous Anime which caused the internet to break.

This also lead to the age-old tradition of fans comparing the newly released Gear 5 against the Legendary transformation of Goku’s Ultra Instinct and a comment battle ensued on X.

Although the Gear 5 appeared in today’s One Piece 1071 episodes we will see more of Luffy’s Gear 5 in upcoming episodes.

There will be many more interesting facts that will be revealed for One Piece fans about Gear 5, especially Indian Anime fans.
