My Hero Academia THE MOVIE will feature completely original story, specially crafted for this film.

Kohei Horikoshi will be in charge of the film’s character designs, as well as serve as the chief supervisor. Further details regarding the film, such as the release date and plot are yet to be revealed.

Kohei Horikoshi shared his excitement and gratitude regarding the film. He reminisced about his own childhood, where he eagerly anticipated annual screenings of “Dragon Ball” movies, and expressed his desire to pass on the same level of excitement and inspiration to the next generation of readers and viewers.

He also mentioned that the new film’s story will follow the timeline of the TV anime and will depict a society that has finally recovered after its previous turmoil.

Hello, everyone. I’m the original author, Kohei Horikoshi.
This is the fourth My Hero Academia movie! Thank you so much for your support; I truly appreciate it! I never imagined that people would support the series for such a long time when it first started serialization! It’s all thanks to Studio BONES and Toho, who have been producing and broadcasting the anime every year.
Having four movies is truly surprising.
It reminds me of the Dragon Ball movies that used to be screened every year when I was a child. I was always excited to watch them. I distinctly remember sitting in the movie theater, heart pounding with anticipation.
I hope I can give back the excitement and inspiration I received from manga movies to at least one boy or girl around the world!

This time, just like before, the story will follow the timeline of the TV anime. The anime will finally depict a society that has peacefully recovered, and that will be the stage for this movie. Deku and the others, who have grown and learned little by little, will face new challenges and protect what is dear to them! Look forward to it!
