Mairimashita Iruma-Kun Sesaon 2 To Premiere In April 2021

On Wednesday, 02-09-2020, official twitter account of NHK anime world revealed that a new visual for Mairimashita Iruma-kun Season 2 have been released. The second season of the anime will start broadcasting from April 2021.

The anime will be broadcasted on NHK Educational TV (E-TV) which is the second television service of NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation).

Makoto Moriwaki returns to direct the second season at Bandai Namco Pictures, with Kazuyuki Fudeyasu once again in charge of series composition. Satohiko Sano returns as character designer. Akimitsu Honma once again composes the music, ANN reported.

The story of the anime focuses on a 14 year old human boy, named Iruma Suzuki. Iruma’s parents sell him to demons and he is taken to the Demon World by the demon Sullivan, who adopts him as his own grandson. Iruma is then enrolled in the Babyls School for Demons. The story continues as Iruma tries to blend in with the demons keeping his true identity as a human a secret. However, Iruma ends up standing out in the school due to the various incidents that occur in the school!

The series has been serialized since March 2017 in Akita Shoten’s Shonen manga Magazine, Weekly Shonen Champion. Fifteen Tankobon volumes have been released as of 8th of January, 2020. Over 2.5 million copies of the first fifteen volumes are in circulation as of January 2020.

The first season of the anime contained 23 episodes and aired on NHK Educational TV from October 5, 2019 to March 7, 2020.

The manga is written by Osamu Nishi, while the anime is directed by Makoto Moriwaki at Bandai Namco Pictures. Series composition was handled by Kazuyuki Fudeyasu. Music was composed by Akimitsu Honma.
