The official website of Kodansha’s Shonen Magazine Edge and its September issue, which was released on Aug 17, 2023, had an important announcement to share with all its readers.

It was revealed that Shonen Magazine Edge will cease publication with the release of its November issue releasing in Oct 17 2023.

The staff expressed their gratitude to all the authors that published their works in the magazine, and the readers for their unwavering support.

“To all the talented authors who gathered under the banner of “Edge,” and to all our dedicated readers who enthusiastically embraced the distinctive manga works featured in the magazine, we express our deepest gratitude. Your unwavering support has meant the world to us, and we extend our heartfelt thanks.“

It was also revealed that all the ongoing works of the magazine will be transferred to various other platforms tailored to suit each works, including Kodansha’s comic app “Magazine Pocket”. Further details regarding the transfer will be announced in the pages of the final issue of the magazine.
