GKIDS To Screen Evangelion 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time Film In The U.S. This December

A theatrical announcement trailer was also released for the film.

GKIDS along with Fathom Events is bringing Evangelion 3.0+1.01 Thrice Upon A Time anime film to the theatres in the U.S. on Dec 6, 8, and 11. The film will be screened in Japanese with English subtitles.

GKIDS also released a theatrical announcement trailer for the film on Sep 21, 2022.

The tickets for the movie will go on sale from Nov 2, 2022.

Misato and her anti-NERV group Wille arrive at Paris, a city now red from core-ization. Crew from the flagship Wunder land on a containment tower. They only have 720 seconds to restore the city. When a horde of NERV Evas appear, Mari’s improved Eva Unit 8 must intercept. Meanwhile, Shinji, Asuka, and Rei (Provisional Name) wander about Japan.

Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time is a 2021 Japanese epic animated science fiction film co-directed, written and produced by Hideaki Anno. Produced by Studio Khara.

After a protracted development and multiple delays, Thrice Upon a Time was released on March 8, 2021, to positive reviews, and became the highest-grossing film of the franchise, and the second-highest-grossing Japanese film of 2021 at 10.28 billion yen.

The film was then released worldwide on the Amazon Prime Video streaming service on Aug 13, 2021.
