The third live-action stage play for Demon Slayer: Kimetsu No Yaiba, titled ‘Butai Kimetsu no Yaiba Sono San Mugen Yume Ressha (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Stage Part 3: Mugen Dream Train), revealed a new key visual.
The visual, which features all prominent characters from the stage play, depicts the beginning of the battle of Tanjiro Kamado and Rengoku Kyojuro with the Demons.

As the title suggests, the third part will be adapting the Mugen Train arc from the manga.
To commemorate the stage performance, the official YouTube channel of Demon Slayer stage play started streaming an epilogue to the stage play’s second part, which leads to the incidents of the Mugen Train. The epilogue features Rengoku.
It will be streamed on the channel till Sep 9, 2022.
The cast of the stage play includes:
- Ryota Kobayashi as Tanjiro Kamado
- Karen Takahashi (replacing Akari Takaishi) as Nezuko Kamado
- Keisuke Ueda as Zenitsu Agatsuma
- Yugo Sato as Inosuke Hashibira
- Taiki Naito as Enmu
- Jin Aoki as Akaza
- Hiroshi Yazaki as Kyojuro Rengoku
- Kyohei Shimokawa as Senjuro Rengoku
- Daisuke Hosomi as Shinjiro Rengoku
Kenichi Suemitsu is writing and directing the stage play, with Shunsuke Wada in charge of the music.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba The Stage Part 3: Mugen Dream Train will be performed at Tokyo Dome City Hall, Tokyo, on Sep 10-11, 2022. It will then move to Kyoto Theater in Kyoto from Sep 16-25, 2022, and then return once again to Tokyo Dome City Hall from Oct 15-23, 2022.
The first and second parts of the stage play aired in 2020 and 2021 respectively.
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is a manga written and illustrated by Koyoharu Gotouge. It was serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2016 to May 2020, with its chapters collected in twenty-three tankōbon volumes.
The plot follows Tanjiro Kamado, who strives to become a demon slayer and turn his sister back into a human after his family was slaughtered and his younger sister Nezuko turned into a demon.
