Streaming giant Crunchyroll has further solidified its presence in India with the inauguration of a new office in Hyderabad. This marks the company’s second office in the country following its establishment in Mumbai. The new office, situated in Knowledge City, has a capacity to accommodate 75 individuals.

The teams at the Hyderabad office will be dedicated to various aspects of Crunchyroll’s operations, including localization, life cycle management, curation and programming, enterprise technology, and data analytics.

Additionally, the office will house teams spanning product and technology, finance, data and engineering, and marketing operations.

Crunchyroll’s decision to expand in India is driven by the country’s rich talent pool, particularly in media and entertainment and engineering. The Hyderabad office is projected to potentially become the largest APAC office within the next 12 months.
