A release date or trailer has not dropped yet but we can expect them as the hype continues to build up.
No plot details are available as well. However, the upcoming movie might be based on the light novel by the same name written by the original mangaka Kafka Asagiri.
Kadokawa Beans Bunko published the light novel on April 1, 2019. This was a part of the bonus story titled ‘Beast: Akutagawa the White, Atsushi the Black’.
The staff and most of the cast have not been announced yet. Only the two main cast members- Shohei Hashimoto will play Ryunosuke Akutagawa and Yuki Torigoe will play Atsushi Nakajima have declared their part in the new movie. The two actors also portrayed the same characters in the stage play. They made an announcement through Kadokawa in April 2020 in a video where they talked about their respective roles.
