“Horimiya Exhibition” is coming to 3 cities in Japan to commemorate the completion of “Horimiya” manga. It commences on July 22nd, in Tokyo, Fukuoka and Nagoya respectively. Horimiya’s artist Daisuke Hagiwara has also released a summer-time Key Visual of the upcoming special event with characters on the sea beach.
According to the Key Visual shared by G-Fantasy, the manga will end with the 16th volume on July 16th(Friday). The commemorative event will exhibit original illustrations and drawings along with original merchandise. A manga drawing event will also take place during the exhibition.
Admission to the “Horimiya Exhibition” is absolutely free. However, advance lottery or numbered tickets will be used to limit the number of people who can enter.
“Horimiya”, which was serialized in the monthly G Fantasy (Square Enix), is based on the web manga “Hori-san to Miyamura-kun” by HERO, and Hagiwara reconstructed it into a story manga format. The official English version of the manga is available on Yen Press. An anime television series adaptation of Horimiya by CloverWorks aired from January to April 2021. A live action and TV drama adaptation premiered in February 2021.
