The official website of the upcoming Mission Yozakura Family anime unveiled a new trailer previewing the opening theme song on March 10, 2024.

Japanese pop-rock duo Ikimono-gakari performed the opening theme song “Unmei-chan”.

Ikimono-gakari also expressed their enthusiasm on being a part of the anime. Checkout the comment below:

I am extremely honored to stand at the starting line of the television anime series ‘Mission: Yozakura Family’ in the form of a theme song. As everyone knows, the Yozakura family is quite an ‘unusual’ family, so Ikimono-gakari has prepared an enthusiastic and out-of-the-box song. Together with the Yozakura family, I hope you can dive into ‘destiny’ brightly, intensely, and stylishly.

Mission: Yozakura Family will start airing on April 7, 2024.

• Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Kengo Yozakura and Goliath

Silver Link is in charge of animating the series.

Mirai Minato will serve as the director and will also oversee the scripts. Mizuki Takahashi is in charge of character design. He will also serve as the chief animation director. The music is composed by Koji Fujimoto and Osamu Sasaki.

Mission: Yozakura Family is a manga written and illustrated by Hitsuji Gondaira. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine since August 2019, with its chapters collected in fifteen tankoubon volumes as of November 2022.

Viz Media & Manga Plus are publishing the chapters in English simultaneously in North America and other regions.
