In a recent Q&A response posted on Tite Kubo’s official website Klub Outside, the manga author revealed that he will be involved even more in the upcoming cour 3 Bleach TYBW anime.

The response came to a question that a fan had asked about his involvement in the anime adaptation of the final saga of the manga.

Kubo revealed that he is checking the storyboards for Bleach TYBW cour 3 and was starting to get more involved in the process, in an attempt to bridge any gaps that might occur while transitioning the manga content to anime.

“I’m checking the settings and production of the anime graphics and storyboard for the third cour of the anime. I feel like I’m starting to get more involved in the storyboard details of the episodes. Normally, when a manga is converted into video, the image or message of the manga will vary slightly depending on the audience or recipient, so my current task is to fill in the discrepancies between the different scenes in detail,” Kubo said in his post.

Fans were quick to point out that maybe the author is trying to add more content or make some adjustments in order to make sure that the story can continue without any discrepancies in the “Hell Arc” of the manga, which many feel he will be getting into once the anime is done airing.

Kubo had previously revealed that he will be adding anime original battles in the Bleach TYBW anime, which were previously omitted from the manga. He had sent over battle and design ideas to Studio Pierrot, so that they could make good use of them.

One such original battle featured in the second cour of Bleach TYBW anime.

Bleach TYBW cour 3 is slated to release in 2024. The anime started airing on October 2022, with its second cour releasing in July 2023.
