Streaming giant Crunchyroll, in its integral drive to give the fans an ultimate anime experience, had recently launched a music initiative to celebrate Japanese music, in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment (Japan) Inc..
This extensive music library is now available to the anime fans in India, as revealed by Crunchyroll to Animehunch on June 1, 2023.
Fans in India can now enjoy short-form music videos, more than 100 full-length live concerts and several concert performances and videos of various Japanese artists, including MAN WITH A MISSION, SPYAIR, KANA-BOON, Goose House, amazarashi, Survive Said The Prophet, SUPER BEAVER, sumika, NICO Touches the Walls, Aimer, YOASOBI, LiSA, Hiroyuki Sawano, Asian Kung-Fu Generation, Ikimonogakari, UVERworld, BURNOUT SYNDROMES, SAYURI, among others.
In addition to this, Crunchyroll has now added the music videos and performances of L’Arc-en-Ciel, who is known for their theme songs in Edens Zero and Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, and Shoko Nakagawa, a voice actress recognized for her work in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Crystal and Dragon Ball Super.
Shoko had performed the fifth ending theme song of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.
Crunchyroll’s music hub features features music video curation, artist listing page and search integration, followed by a dedicated music landing page/screen, enhanced discoverability and show page integrations in the future.
