Kadokawa revealed on Jan 6, 2023, that they will be teaming up animation studio Troyca to produce a new original anime. The details of the anime, including the cast working on it, will be revealed in a joint press conference that will be held on Jan 20, 2023, at 7:00 p.m. (JST).

Ei Aoki has been roped in to direct the original anime. The director will be present at the press conference, along with animation producer Toshiyuki Nagano, who is also the president of Troyca.

Other members who will be present include Kadokawa producer Sayaka Ueda and the cast of the anime.

The press conference will be live streamed on Kadokawa’s official YouTube channel.

Aoki, Nagano and photography director Tomonori Katou together founded Troyca studio in 2013.

The studio has animated multiple series including Aldonah.Zero, Idolish 7, Re:Creators and Bloom Into You. Aoki, who is also a board director of the studio, directed both Aldonah.Zero and Re:Creators at Troyca.
