The 26th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine announced that Shuhei Miyazaki‘s manga, Me & Roboco, will be getting an anime adaptation.
A key visual illustrated by Miyazaki was also revealed along with the announcement.
The manga featured on the cover and got a lead color page in the 26th issue of Jump magazine.
Furthermore, the Twitter account for the Me & Roboco series also posted a new announcement video to commemorate the event.
In Jump’s 25th issue released on May 23, a preview of the next issue hinted that the Me & Roboco series will have a super serious announcement. The latest volume 8of the manga will be released on June 3.
Me & Roboco(Boku to Roboco) is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Shuhei Miyazaki. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump since July 2020. The series is published digitally in the English language by Viz Media.
Shueisha has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume (whose cover is a parody of the first Doraemon volume) was released on Nov 4, 2020. As of Oct 4, 2021, five volumes have been released.
