Dr. STONE manga reached its climax in the 14th issue of Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump. A new PV was released to commemorate the end of the series and the release of the manga’s 25 volume.
The 25th volume released in Japan on March 4, 2022.
It was earlier revealed that Dr. STONE will be receiving a special chapter after the manga ends. The chapter will release before the Dr. STONE: Ryusui TV Anime Special airs in July 2022.
The manga had entered its Final Arc in Shonen Jump issue #45.
Dr. STONE, written by Riichiro Inagaki, and illustrated by South Korean artist Boichi, started serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump in March 2017. Its chapters have been collected in twenty-two tankōbon volumes as of August 2021.
The story follows teenage scientific genius Senku Ishigami, who plans to rebuild civilization after humanity was mysteriously petrified for 3,700 years.
Viz Media licensed the manga in North America. Shueisha began to simulpub the series in English on the website and the Shonen Jump and MANGA PLUS apps in January 2019.
An anime television series adaptation by TMS Entertainment aired from July to December 2019. A second season of the anime series focused on the “Stone Wars” arc aired from January to March 2021. A third season is set to premiere in 2023.
