In its recent press release, Crunchyroll revealed that they will be attending Comic Con India, and will have a presence in each of its three locations, Bengaluru, Delhi and Mumbai.

Comic Con India will be held on the following dates:

• Bengaluru: Nov 19-20, 2022
• Delhi: Dec 9-11, 2022
• Mumbai: Feb 11-12, 2023

No additional details have been revealed.

Crunchyroll also revealed a list of anime that they will be releasing in Hindi and Indian English dubs in the country, including Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba.

In India, Crunchyroll offers nearly 5,500 episodes of anime and 1,000 hours of dubbed content, with a goal of adding more content (subs and dubs) in the months to come.

Crunchyroll had slashed the subscription prices of their services in India in July. The price of a Crunchyroll Premium membership in India is ₹79/month for its Fan subscription tier and ₹99/month for its Mega Fan tier subscription.

In an interview to Animehunch, Crunchyroll’s COO Brady McCollum had previously said that the streaming site was looking to provide more value to its users by slashing the prices of subscription.

“Our mission is to help everyone belong to the anime community and making anime more accessible is part of us reaching that goal. We assessed prices for Crunchyroll globally and we were excited to roll out this price decrease to supported territories simultaneously to provide more value to fans and to keep our offering competitive in each benefiting region, which includes India,” McCollum said.

“Anime fans in India are some of the most vocal and we know there is a huge community of fans who are ready and excited to dive deep into the Crunchyroll library.”
