The official website of  “Zom 100: Bucket List Of The Dead” anime announced on Aug 2, 2023, that the release of Episode 5 of the anime will be delayed by a week.

Episode 5, which was set to release on Aug 6, 2023, will now air on Aug 13, 2023.

In its stead, a special program titled “Zom 100 Special: 100 Things You Should Prepare to Escape from Zombies” will be aired on Aug 6, 2023, at 5:00 p.m. JST.

The program will deliver lecture on survival tips and strategies for evading the undead in a zombie-infested world. The hosts will also take a serious look at the hypothetical scenario of a real zombie pandemic while reviewing scenes from the anime.

The program will be hosted by Panther Mukai. Panther Kan and Tom Brown’s Michio will join as guests, along with Ken Okamoto, an Associate Professor from Kindai University.

Additionally, there will be an exclusive interview with KANA-BOON, who is in charge of the opening theme song of the anime.

Zom 100: Bucket List Of The Dead anime started airing in Japan on July 9, 2023.

Bug Films is in charge of the animation production of Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead anime, with Shogakukan producing it.

Kawagoe Kazuki will direct the anime and Ueda Hanako will serve as the assistant director. Seko Hiroshi will be in charge of series composition.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata. The series began in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X on Oct 19, 2018. Shogakukan has collected its chapters into individual tankobon volumes. The first volume was released on March 19, 2019. As of Nov 17, 2022, twelve volumes have been released.

In North America, Viz Media announced the English release of the series in July 2020. The series is licensed in France by Kana.
