The official YouTube channel of Jump Comics dropped a new promo video of Naruto on Feb 27, 2023, as a part of the anime’s 20th anniversary.
The PV is titled “NARUTO The Will Of Fire”. It features the journey of each ninja of Konohagakure village, including Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata, Itachi, Shikamaru, and the others. Checkout the video below:
The franchise had also held a poll to determine the 99 most popular characters from the series as a part of 20th anniversary. The preliminary results of the worldwide character popularity poll, titled NARUTOP99, was revealed on Dec 23, 2022. Check it out in the link below:
The Naruto anime, directed by Hayato Date and produced by Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo, premiered in Japan on October 3, 2002, and concluded on Feb 8, 2007, after 220 episodes on TV Tokyo. The first 135 episodes were adapted from Part I of the manga; the remaining 85 episodes are original and use plot elements that are not in the manga.
Naruto: Shippuden, developed by Studio Pierrot and directed by Hayato Date, is the sequel to the original Naruto anime; it corresponds to Part II of the manga. It debuted on Japanese TV on February 15, 2007, on TV Tokyo, and concluded on March 23, 2017.
Naruto manga, written and illustrated by Masashi Kishimoto, was serialized in Shueisha’s magazine, Weekly Shonen Jump from 1999 to 2014, and released in tankobon (book) form in 72 volumes.
Viz Media licensed the manga and anime for North American production and serialized Naruto in their digital Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.
