The official Twitter account of Wind Breaker anime revealed on Oct 19, 2023, that Yuichi Nakamura, known for voicing Gojo in Jujutsu Kaisen, will voice Hajime Umemiya.

A character PV was also revealed to commemorate the announcement.

Other cast includes:

• Yuma Uchida as Haruka Sakura
• Kyotaro Sugishita as Kouki Uchiyama
• Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hayato Suou

The anime adaptation will be produced by CloverWorks.

WIND BREAKER is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoru Nii. It began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga website in January 2021. As of January 2023, the series’ individual chapters have been collected into ten volumes.

In March 2022, Kodansha USA announced that they licensed the series for digital English publication. During their Anime NYC 2022 panel, Kodansha USA announced that they will begin releasing print copies in Fall 2023.
