The official Twitter account of the upcoming Wind Breaker anime announced the cast for Hayato Suou on Oct 18, 2023.

It was revealed that Nobunaga Shimazaki will be voicing Hayato Suou.

A character PV previewing the voice of Hayato was also revealed to commemorate the announcement.

It was previously revealed that Yuma Uchida will voice the protagonist Haruka Sakura, while Kyotaro Sugishita will be voiced by Kouki Uchiyama.

The anime adaptation will be produced by CloverWorks.

WIND BREAKER is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoru Nii. It began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga website in January 2021. As of January 2023, the series’ individual chapters have been collected into ten volumes.

In March 2022, Kodansha USA announced that they licensed the series for digital English publication. During their Anime NYC 2022 panel, Kodansha USA announced that they will begin releasing print copies in Fall 2023.
