The official Twitter account of the upcoming Wind Breaker anime dropped a new teaser video showcasing the main characters on Oct 22, 2023.

The teaser also revealed that Wind Breaker anime will release in April 2024.

Accompanying the trailer was a brand new key visual.

Additionally, mangaka Satoru Nii also revealed an illustration to commemorate the announcement of anime adaptation.

Cast members include:

• Yuma Uchida as Haruka Sakura
• Kyotaro Sugishita as Kouki Uchiyama
• Nobunaga Shimazaki as Hayato Suou
• Yuichi Nakamura as Hajime Umemiya
• Ryota Suzuki as Toma Hiragi
• Shoya Chiba as Akihiko Nirei

The anime adaptation will be produced by CloverWorks.

WIND BREAKER is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Satoru Nii. It began serialization on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga website in January 2021. As of January 2023, the series’ individual chapters have been collected into ten volumes.

In March 2022, Kodansha USA announced that they licensed the series for digital English publication. During their Anime NYC 2022 panel, Kodansha USA announced that they will begin releasing print copies in Fall 2023.

MAL describes the plot of Wind Breaker as:

Haruka Sakura wants nothing to do with weaklings—he’s only interested in the strongest of the strong. He’s just started at Furin High School, a school of degenerates known only for their brawling strength—strength they use to protect their town from anyone who wishes it ill. But Haruka’s not interested in being a hero or being part of any sort of team—he just wants to fight his way to the top!
