Uzaki-Chan Wants To Hang Out Season 2 To Air In Fall 2022

Kano and Uzaki-chan VA Naomi Ozara will return to perform the new OP song "Ichigro Ichie Celebration".

The official website and staff of Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out anime released a new PV and a key visual for its second season. The PV reveals fall 2022 release date, opening theme song artists, and more info on the anime staff.

Uzaki chan KV

The anime’s season 2 comes with a twist in its title. It has “ω” symbol at the end and is pronounced as “double”. Hence making the anime name, “Uzaki- chan wants to hang out ω“.

In addition to name change, there’s a cast addition in the series. The new cast members include:

  • Seina Katō as Yanagi, Uzaki’s little sister
  • Hideo Ishikawa as Fujio, Uzaki’s father

The anime’s first season aired in Japan on July 10, 2020, consisting of 12 episodes. Funimation simulcasted the season 1 of the series.

Seven Seas is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Sakurai Shinichi’s one wish is for a little peace and quiet. But Uzaki Hana–his boisterous, well-endowed underclassman–has other plans. All she wants is to hang out and poke fun at him. With the help of her chipper charm and peppy persistence, this might just be the start of a beautiful relationship!
