The official Twitter account of Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! unveiled a new key visual on Friday, March 4, 2022, for its second season. The visual features main character Uzaki Hana‘s sister, Uzaki Yanagi, and their father, Uzaki Fujio as additional cast joining the new season.

Voice actors Sena Kato will voice Uzaki Yanagi while Hideo Ishikawa will voice Uzaki Fujio.

The franchise also released a teaser video to commemorate the announcement.

ENGI will be in charge of animating the second season.

The new season of Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! is stylized as Uzaki-chan Wants To Hang Out! Double (Uzaki chan was asobitai! ω). It will premiere in 2022.

The initial announcement of Uzaki-chan Season 2 was made in August 2021 to commemorate the 7th volume of the manga and celebrate Hana Uzaki’s birthday on August 7.

Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out! is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Take. It has been serialized through Niconico Seiga’s Dra Dra Sharp website since December 2017 and collected in seven tankōbon volumes by Fujimi Shobo as of August 2021.

In North America, the manga is licensed by Seven Seas Entertainment. An anime television series adaptation by ENGI aired from July to September 2020.
