On November 12th, 2021, Animation Studio Ufotable released a key PV and character sketches to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Fate/Zero anime.
The project was first announced on October 1st, 2021, marking 10 years since the TV premiere of the Anime adaptation of Fate Zero, a light novel series written by Gen Urobuchi and illustrated by Takashi Takeuchi. During that announcement, a PV was released.
The 10th anniversary visual, produced by the anime’s character designer Tomonori Sudo, was inspired by “the piece in my head, 10 years after the broadcast.” Now, we got 2 PVs and a couple of character sketches so far. Take a look at them one-by-one.

Fate Zero Synopsis:
The omnipotent Holy Grail, promising to grant any request, launched three conflicts in the past, each too brutal and terrible to leave a victor. Despite this, the affluent Einzbern family is convinced that the Fourth Holy Grail War will be different; specifically, because he now possesses a container containing the Holy Grail.
For this reason alone, the Einzbern hires the reviled “wizard-killer” Kiritsugu Emiya, with marriage to his only daughter Irisviel as a contractual contract.
Kiritsugu is now at the heart of a vicious survival game, pitted against six other players, each armed with a former familiar and driven by their own set of desires and goals.
The legendary mercenary, accompanied by his own familiar, Saber, eventually meets his greatest foe in Kirei Kotomine, a priest who seeks salvation from the void within in quest of Kiritsugu.
Fate / Zero, based on Gen Urobuchi’s light novel, depicts the events of the Fourth Holy Grail War, which occurred 10 years before Fate / Stay Night. Witness a fight royale in which no one is certain to survive.
Between December 2006 and December 2007, Urobuchi and Takeuchi published four volumes of light novels through the TYPE-MOON publishing branch.
In addition to Shinjirou’s manga adaptation, the play inspired a twenty-five-episode anime adaptation created by the studios Ufotable (his first step into Fate Series), which was released in Japan in October 2011.
The anime was supposed to show continuously for all episodes at first, but a one-season break was eventually added between episodes 13 and 14 to allow for improved animation. The first season aired between October 1 and December 24, 2011, and the second between April 7 and June 23, 2012.
