10. Kono Oto Tomare!: Sounds of Life

One of the most unappreaciated anime of 2019, Kono Oto Tomare is a homage to the underrated traditional artform of Koto. A labelled delinquent Chika, joins the Tokise High School Koto Club to understand the last words of his grandfather.

Even though the club is in dire need of members, new club president Takezou Kurata is unwilling to easily accept Chika’s application due to his bad reputation. 5. Violet Evergarden

The main plot revolves around an Auto Memory Doll named Violet Evergarden as she tries to discover her purpose in life after spending the last several years as a military “tool”. While Violet is mechanically capable of writing letters, operating the type writer with insane precision and speed, the letters she produces are less emotional than people would like. Even though she looks like a genuine doll, one of her few desires is to understand the emotions of those around her and get better at conveying them on paper.

Violet Evergarden is anime at it’s best! The idea of anime as a medium of art and storytelling is presented charmingly in Violet’s advertures as Doll.

4. My Little monster

My little monster is primarily focused on the blooming romance between the cold and distant Shizuku and the emotional and impulsive Haru as well as new encounters and friendships. 3. Inuyasha

InuYasha follows Kagome Higurashi, a fifteen-year-old girl whose normal life ends when a demon drags her into a cursed well of her family’s Shinto shrine. Coming out of the well, Kagome ends up 500 years in the past during Japan’s violent Sengoku period with the demon’s true target, a wish-granting jewel called the Shikon Jewel, reborn inside of her.

After a battle with a revived demon accidentally causes the sacred jewel to shatter, Kagome asks the help of a young hybrid dog-demon/human named Inuyasha to help her collect the shards and prevent them from falling into the wrong hands.

The story of A Place Further than the Universe follows a high school student name Mari Tamaki who want to make the most of her youth, but she is terrified to do it.
