Japan’s one of the biggest franchises Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is now ready to take over the world’s tallest tower- the Tokyo Skytree in demon hunter colours till January 2022.
Collaborating with the franchise “‘Kimetsu no Yaiba’ Wish for the Sky TOKYO SKYTREE” event will start from October 21, 2021, through January 20, 2022.

During the event period, special lighting based on Demon Slayer characters will light up on the outside of Skytree, in addition to photo spots in the Tenbo Corridor, and the sale of collaborative goods, exhibitions, and other decorations will be available at the Tembo Deck.
As for why the event is called “Wishes to the Heavens,” the answer comes at the highest point of the walkway, where visitors can purchase ribbons for 300 yen (US$2.75) on which to write wishes.
Visitors can tie the wishes for display, sort of like the summertime Tanabata festival tradition, to create a flowering wisteria tree of ribbons.
The SKYTREE CAFE will also have food inspired by Demon Slayer.
Furthermore, the tower will light up to the colors of Flame Breathing Hashira Rengoku Kyojuro’s nichirin to commemorate the Demon Slayer: Mugen Train movie, broadcast on Fuji TV on September 25th at 9:00 PM JST.
