Tokyo Revengers Manga To End This November

The final chapter will be serialized in the magazine's 51st issue.

The official Twitter account of Tokyo Revengers as well as issue # 47 of Weekly Shonen Jump Magazine announced on Oct 19, 2022, that the manga will come to an end on Nov 16, 2022, with just five more chapters remaining for the completion of the revenge.

The final chapter will be serialized in the magazine’s 51st issue.

The twitter account posted a visual along with a message that reads, “We are coming to the final round! Countdown starts today!”.

It was previously revealed that the manga has entered the climax of its final arc with the release of the chapter on the 47th issue of Weekly Shonen Jump magazine.

Tokyo Revengers is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Ken Wakui. It has been serialized in the magazine since March 2017.

An anime television series adaptation by Liden Films aired from April to September 2021. A second season is set to premiere in January 2023.

A live-action film adaptation was released in Japan in July 2021. The live-action film will be getting a sequel in 2023, titled Tokyo Revengers 2.

As of July 2022, the manga had over 65 million copies in circulation, including 7 million copies outside of Japan. The manga won the 44th Kodansha Manga Award for the shonen category in 2020.

Takemichi Hanagaki’s life is at an all-time low. Just when he thought it couldn’t get worse, he finds out that Hinata Tachibana, his ex-girlfriend, was murdered by the Tokyo Manji Gang: a group of vicious criminals that has been disturbing society’s peace for quite some time.

Wondering where it all went wrong, Takemichi suddenly finds himself traveling through time, ending up 12 years in the past—when he was still in a relationship with Hinata. Realizing he has a chance to save her, Takemichi resolves to infiltrate the Tokyo Manji Gang and climb the ranks in order to rewrite the future and save Hinata from her tragic fate.
